Bellamy Young

Young's acting career began in theatre. Her Broadway debut in 1997, playing Mary The Life's first member of the cast of The Life. Also, she appeared off-Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Rolled Along (1994) along with as the role of Randy Newman's Faust (from 1995-96). She made her first appearance on the TV screen in 1995 as Dr. Courtney Evans. Both in 1997 and 1998, she was a guest star on Law & Order, playing two different roles. The film debut came in 1999. She had an uncredited role on Black and White. In the subsequent years she appeared in a variety of independent films. At the start of 2000, she was spotted in guest-starring characters on several TV comedies and dramas, including The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. Between 2000 and the year 2011, Young made appearances in over thirty TV shows. Young was regularly cast in the USA Network series Peacemakers in 2003. The show was cancelled after a season with nine episodes. The actress played the role of deputy Dist. on The Lifetime television drama For the People. Atty. Agnes Hunt in 2002, on NBC the period drama American Dreams as Diane Shaw in 2003. Later, she appeared on NBC's Scrubs as the character Dr. Grace Miller in 2004, as The Assistant State Attorney Monica West on CBS's CSI: Miami (2005-06), as well as on the ABC primetime soap show Dirty Sexy Money (2008-2009) in the role of Ellen Darling, the eldest daughter-in-law of the Darling family. In 2011, she played an uncredited guest appearance on Criminal Minds as Beth Clemmons on Criminal Minds. Bellamy Bellamy Bellamy
