Alex Flanagan

She earned her degree from her school, the University of Arizona, and Salpointe Catholic High School. Her experience includes working for The NFL Network, as an anchor/reporter. On NBC Sports she is a reporter on the sidelines of football games, including Notre Dame Football home matches as well as Football Night in America. Flanagan is heard in the highly-rated games on video Madden 10 and Madden 11 in which she hosts an in-game weekly recap show with Fran Charles. Alex is a native of Sonoita Arizona. Kevin Flanagan, a former basketball player at the University of Arizona is her husband. The couple has two daughters and a son. Alex's parents are the owners of Arizona steakhouses "The Steak Out", situated in Sonoita, and Dove Mountain. Flanagan began her journey to her career path as a news reporter and anchor while in college as a student intern at KVOA-TV and started covering the sports industry in. Her work was with various channels which include, NBC Sports, NFL Network, ESPN, and Fox Sports. In addition, she was part of the Gamma Phi Beta sister. After her graduation, Flanagan got her first job on TV as a general assignment news reporter as well as a weekend anchor for KCCO-TV which was based in Alexandria, Minnesota.
